Used for sampling applications of powders and granules under process conditions in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. The valve permits taking samples under pressure as well as under vacuum. The plug is flush to the vessel interior and thus there are no dead areas. A vent allows pressure relief before removing the sample bottle. By using Bayonet / Tri-Clamp connections the sample bottle can be removed and reassembled easily for cleaning, sampling and inspection purposes. A vent valve allows to equalize the pressure (or vacuum) inside the chamber.
