In addition to bags and super sacks, drums are a prevalent choice for handling bulk solids. While vacuum transfer via suction lance is the simplest method for removing product from drums, it is not always viable. Handling dustier, corrosive, combustible, reactive, or toxic materials in an open atmosphere can be unsafe and impractical.
