How many layers are there in glass lined reactor and what are those and their thickness
The first coat of glass that is applied directly to the steel substrate is called the ground coat. After the ground coat is cooled, the chemical resistance glass is applied. This procedure is repeated until a desired glass thickness is achieved, which is in the range of 40-90 mils. (a mil is 1/1000 in.)
